Alain joined the Board in 2018. Alain is passionate about agriculture and the family farm.
Alain first immigrated to Canada from France when he was 18 and has had a diverse experience in Canadian Agriculture with his wife, Janna. From swine in Ontario, dairy and poultry in Manitoba to settling on Prince Edward Island with his family in 2016 on a dairy farm which he manages with their daughter and her family.
While Alain’s family jokes that he has no hobbies or leisure other than farming, he affirms that he is interested in politics and he does like to travel, but mainly to other farms to learn about different farming techniques. Alain is also a Jersey breed enthusiast.
